Finally got the puppy pictures

These were taken at 2 to 3 weeks. They''ll be four weeks old tomorrow and have ALL of their teeth. They look and act at least 6 weeks old...mama must have some really powerful milk! My computer room is completely covered in paper...my furry slippers are their favorite prey....they're a pain in the ass.....and also a joy.

Yep I get it. "the pain in the ass and also a joy" I have five kittens right now
thanks to some not so nice person who hurled them over a villa wall and one
from LCS. We have one not called for if anybody is interested.

For some reason I have little tiny punture marks all over my body and a kitten
sitting on top of my head.

Great pictures Kip...thanks for sharing. Ladybelle is a good mom...love her head resting on the couch while pups are still nursing. She looks totally resigned to her lot in life.

Yeah she's a good mommie but I think she's actually looking forward to getting spayed!!!

I'm just glad that I'm the foster gramma so the vet bills and finding of good homes is taken care of by the Rescue.

Have you tried clipping the little hooked ends of the kittens claws? Sure helps keep the pin holes" to a minimum. Also helps keep them from getting them caught in things. I've already trimmed the puppies nails twice...helps save poor LadyBelles tender belly. Just regular finger nail clippers work fine.

OMG are they cute. And Mom looks like she is saying - I had how many puppies? And I see the wall to wall fur. What a joy!

Doesn't Facebook exist in the deep south? No matter how I stretch this topic, I cannot figure out how it fits into Mexico? Not like you are the first person to have a litter of pubs. Maybe it is time to start contributing something about Mexico? OH, I forgot, all of your Mexico experience is a "pipe dream"!

Neil. That was snide and uncalled for. We all ASKED for the pictures to be posted...and appreciate Kip making the effort to do so.

Not a biggie Ferret.....it's just the real Neil raising his ugly, nasty, bigoted head. He learned a lot being Pedro's lap dog. You go Neil! You're a great understudy! Uh did you forget which forum you were on? This is the kinder gentler one for friends...even assholes (guess who he might be? Come on...guess!)) are treated fairly.

So much mileage out of one nasty post! Don't know about you....but I've never had a litter of "pubs" personally, and neither have any of my four footed friends .... O great literate one. Of course that could be the beginning of your "problem"

They had their first outdoor playtime today so I could "shovel" out the room. You'd have thought I'd dropped them off in Hades!!! Took them awhile to relax and realize that there were all kinds of interesting smells..hounds you know Interesting how their personalities emerge when put into a whole new setting. Much more confidant kiddos by the time I brought them back in.

But Uncle Bobby ! He hit me first and I wanted the window seat!!!!

Grass - very scary stuff! First time I put my cats (who have since passed away) on the grass they walked like it was broken glass. Couldn't stand it if their belly was touched by the grass. Pretty soon they will be tearing around in it!

Babies are a hoot. Don't think I'd want to be the one who has to deal with them all "forever" ... but being the foster mom while she had her babies has really been fun...and tiring...but fun.

With the nice weather there anyone who thinks they might like to try fostering an expectant mommy so they can get the whole puppy experience...I'm sure the shelters would welcome anyone who would take the new mommies with their babies to get them where they would get more personalized care. It would really help out the shelters, give the mommies a chance for some love and it really is a fun experience. Of course it would be a lot easier here if it had been summer and I didn't have to turn my computer room into a puppy parlor...but still... I'm glad I had the experience.
