Fiesta Purépecha on Ajijic Plaza Weekend Dec. 15th

I walked thru the Ajijic Plaza this afternoon and saw lots of really nice stuff.  Those big ceramic pineapples, tons of other pottery, copper pieces including at least one copper bathroom sink priced 2500 pesos, Xmas decorations, etc.  The GR article mentions food but I didn't see any being served, perhaps too early on their first day??  

There is also an artisan group (maybe locals??) selling under tents on the malecón, lots of jewelry, soaps, textiles (the local Ajijic telares, including a demo on a loom).  Some really good stocking stuffers.  Hint hint
