who do you call to set up a booth?

Would one need a working visa to have a booth in this market or one of the tiangus?

What did it take to be allowed to earn?

There is an extra fee to have a work permit with your FM. Everyone I know did not have trouble getting it. You have to apply by specific category such as - artist, or whatever it is you want to do. If you use a facilitator like Spencer they will know the best way to do it.

Most of my friends had no problem getting one, it's a matter of paying the annual fee which is in addition to the FM. Don't know what the fee is - maybe Spencer can tell us.

Getting your work permit is easy. you need to write an letter explaining what activity your going to do. Their main concern is that you take a job intended for a Mexican imagine that.
You will need a sponsor letter from some existing business if your going to say sell real estate or insurance all jobs that are not hourly or in competition with the locals.
I formed a Mexican corp. and still had to do these things, it was no big deal.

I think forming a Mexican corp would probably the best "all encompassing" way to do it. I plan on setting one up also.

Larry, I would be there tomorrow if I could. Being the Logistics Manager for a large retailer I had agreed to stay for at least the Xmas season and my wife needs to stay at her job until mid March. My last day at work is Feb. 24 then I'm flying down to the lake with a buddy on Mar. 15 to get things in order. My wife and his are flying down into PV on Mar. 28. We will drive and pick them up from there. The direct flight from Vancouver to PV is easier on our dog versus the 12 hour journey through LA to Guad.

Have you checked out US Air via Phoenix? Leaves Van in am, arriving Guad around 5ish. The Phoenix layover is fairly brief. This is the fastest route I found.

Yes, I have taken that route before as well as the Delta Air via Salt Lake however I have an Alaskan credit card so fly on points.
