Re: Total Play down?
I replied to this but it’s not showing up. Anyway, it came back up but I made the mistake of shutting down one of my iPads last night and when I turned it on I tried for over an hour this morning to log into Total Play. Tried changing the password after trying the TP password over & over (which I had successfully done with my other IPad) and finally just logged in to my Telmex. I’m so frustrated with TP that I’ll probably dump it Monday. Telmex may be slow but it has been very reliable and I don’t need these hassles.

I called Uzziel and told him the issue. He said he would come by (Thursday) and he never did. 🤬

Re: Total Play down?
I am not that familiar with the workings of tablets but here are my thoughts... those with more knowledge please feel free to correct me if this sounds wonky.
IF you have told your laptop to AUTOMATICALLY connect to a specific network (Telmex OR TotalPlay in your case) then it will continue to do so until you tell it otherwise.
In other words, you cannot connect to TotalPlay while still connected to Telmex. You must disconnect from Telmex and then connect to TotalPlay.
Secondly, I know you want your Telmex PHONE line (which I believe is the old type connection and not voip modem dependent???) so just disconnect and turn off your Telmex modem until you want or need to connect to the internet with it. Your phone (now plugged directly into the wall jack) should still work just fine.

Re: Total Play down?
It was connected to TP. I shut it down then the next AM when I turned it on it wasn’t connected to anything. Tried to connect to TP and failed for an hour. Later that afternoon tried again for ages and couldn’t do it. Beyond frustrated.

Thanks but there’s an issue with the account number & password. I successfully changed the password on the other iPad but on this one it won’t accept TP’s password OR the one I selected.

Re: Total Play down?
I have nothing but problems with guests and their Apple products getting disconnected from the internet. Apple sucks.....IMO. Anyhow, we always resolve it by 1) rebooting the router 2) rebooting the Apple device.

Re: Total Play down?
Donald Stordahl (Clear Choice) was here for brunch and installed my Firestick and got both my iPads online with Total Play but using TP’s passwords & said I shouldn’t have to log on again. I hope he’s correct.
