Ajijic Centro intersections Empty Ajijic Centro intersections

Does anyone know why some of the intersections (only intersections) in Ajijic Centro have been torn up and replaced with paving stones? I'm not complaining as any improvement to the streets around here is good.......lol.

They were working on those streets when we were there in October. My question would be, "Are they done yet?"

Actually the crosswalk project went faster than expected, so much so that they added new intersections.
