Good dental clinic for teeth cleaning

I phoned Dr. Haro's office and was quoted a price of $1,000 pesos for teeth cleaning and have been told by many lakeside, that that amount is way too high.

Several folks had said nice things about a Dentist called Dr. Candy and so I looked in the phone book and found a dentist by the name of Dr. Candy A. Ugalde Mercado and was quoted a price of $300 pesos to have my teeth cleaned.

What am I missing here? Any recommendations for this Ajijic native would be appreciated.

I had my teeth cleaned at Dra. Candy's last Friday. $300 pesos. I'm happy.
