Fooling Rogers
Hi,
I'm returning to Ajijic shortly (yay!). At home I use the new Rogers Ignite, and it has apps for use on laptops and cell phones. But, it has to be in Canada. Is there something I can use so Rogers believes my computer is in Canada? Is that a VPN? And which one works best from Mexico.
TIA.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: Fooling Rogers
Yes a VPN. I have a Netgear router with Express VPN built into it. It can be set to any country including Canada. You can also download an Express VPN app for your phone or laptop. It does require a yearly subscription fee of I believe $99.00. There are free VPN apps but some of them slow your internet speed considerably.
