Chronicle of a flood announced by the tamponade of the Arroyo la Canacinta.
A couple of years ago multiple complaints were made about the reduction in the flow of the Arroyo La Canacinta next to Ajijic, those responsible; the Los Alebrijes Condominium.
Today we see how the ambition of developers alongside the lack of action by the Authorities generates the families of the Canacinta in Ajijic to suffer the damage, many of them irreparable.
The worst of all is that these stream diversion and tamponade activities continue to happen across the Bank,

Where are some places to drop off food and blanket donations?

The Ajijic Cultural Center.
Easier:  the DAC building almost across from where they have the horses in La Floresta.  Big white building: volunteers on the porch.  Steps up, but ramp too.
Area:  just before you'd be at the back of the Wednesday Market......so don't go on a Wednesday.........
We went yesterday.  No problem.
There are others, including Manix restaurant, but I don't know who they are.
