An interesting development
The residents of an area of Jocotepec, after unproductive talks with the municipality and a developer, dug up the pipes connecting a new development of 124 units to their water system. The residents site street damages, utility pole damages, loss of power and now increased demand on their water system. The municipality offered to put in a bigger pump, which would be a burned out hulk in a dry well.
God bless the local Mexicans for standing up to power. I'd say the related municipal directors are quaking in their related payoffs!

Sadly, the entire area around Joco on the east side has been overdeveloped and mismanaged for years. There is just not the infrastructure. So this is the latest corruption. It's mind-boggling.

Re: An interesting development
I remember when the "new" development of Sendaros (I think) on the lakeside were supposed to put in their own sewer plant for the development. They didn't of course and hooked themselves to the existing sewer plan that was very close by. The existing sewer sometimes put raw sewage into the lake because they run out of chlorine before the end of the year.
