House/Pet sitting rate

What would be a reasonable daily rate to pay a couple of older Mexican girls to house-sit and feed our 2 small dogs for a week.  We have know these girls, and their families, for the last 5 years during which time they have worked on our property helping our gardener/handyman with all sorts of tasks from building walls, painting, sweeping, weeding, bush trimming etc.

They would get full use of our luxury house (except the bar!).  Their main duties would be feeding and watering the dogs and giving them their medications and cleaning up any mess.  The garden is large so no street walkies would be necessary.  They would not need to be on the property full-time.

Any suggestions for what would be a reasonable daily rate?

$400 pesos per day would seem reasonable.

Thats what our house/pet sitter charges.

I pay 200 pesos a day. I have 4 dogs 2 cats. The sitter has to feed them twice a day and spend the night. She can go and work during the day. I leave one month at a time.
The kennel west ajijic charges 200 pesos a day per dog.
I pay a mason 450 a day to work hard for 8 hours ...

I was thinking $300 pesos per day but the girls could use the extra money and there will be 2 people staying on the property at night, so, $400 pesos per day it will be!

The kennels in West Ajijic charge $440 pesos a day for 2 doggies which includes walkies and play time.
