So I received an email from SAT saying I haven't submitted for January/February. I contact my accountant and ask him whats up. He says "oh your password doesn't work anymore and the only way to fix it is to go into SAT in Guadalajara and fix it in person. They won't fix it otherwise. It's no wonder they have a problem collecting taxes in Mexico........

Government efficiency at its finest! Similar to Telmex only taking 12 days to restore my landline.

You were fortunate. We were without a landline phone or Internet for 3 weeks. That was after husband visited Telmex four times.

I had the same issue with a corp I sold ln Manzanillo last year. SAT required an in person appointment in Colima to get a new password. Because I couldn't go myself I had to pay big pesos for a notarized poder allowing my accountant to take care of it. The poder had to be registered both here where I reside and in Manzanillo.
If you can go to the appointment yourself, it will save you a lot of time and money. Good luck.

We've been 6 weeks with a landline that doesn't ring in our home. We can place outgoing calls successfully.

Reported weeks ago. Each day we get an email from Telmex saying the problem is still being investigated.
