Travel to Mexico from US

Does anyone have the up to date guidelines when traveling to Mexico. Covid testing rules and anyone have recent experience with border regulations. Wanting to travel at the end of the month. Thanks

Mexico currently has no testing or quarantine rules to visit the country. The Mexican/US road border is supposed to be closed to "non essential" travel but as far as I know Mexico is not enforcing it for people coming into the country. Air travel is no problem at all......

So conversely, Bob, we are planning a driving trip from Lakeside to Austin, TX in the next week or two. Are there likely to be an problems going or returning? Do you have any idea where I can get current, authoritative information as well as actual experience / first-hand reports? Ordinarily, this is a no-brainer for us. But who knows these days? I mean, literally, who knows?

Any factual info will be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea what the US border is enforcing going North. Check with the US embassy?

Friends traveled north from Mexico into Texas by car late January and returned this past Sunday. No problems or questions on either side.

I know two couples that are going to Texas in a week or two for a week and they are confident that they won´t have any problems going either way.  I´m sure they have checked things out.

39, just tell them to 'ditch the masks' and they'll be happily welcomed into Texas.

I assume that these people going to Texas are American citizens. Anyone know if Canadians are able to cross into Texas at the moment.
