Do not even think about getting it in Riberas. Had a friend try last week. She was gven the driving test first and askedto do really strange things and parallel park in a space that was barelylarge enouhg for her car and allowed to turn the steering wheel only three times. She failed. The very polite police officer held out his hand for a bribe. My very polite firend held up her middle finger to him and she was not allowed to take the written test which is in Spanish in Riberas. She now has to wait two weeks and will be going to GDL, which is where I went. Possible 120 questions. You get 30. In Englishgiven in pencil and paper. the driving test is on the size of n outdoor basketball court and the parale parking situataion is twice the size that you need. Stay away from Riberas. Lots of graft and corruption may be going on there. Go to GDL and get it done properly. Hell, it is only once every four years. The worst thing that you can do is to pay a street person to get you a phony driver's license and I have firiends who have done so. It comes back looking like the real thing, but there is no hologram and you can be arrested for forgery. My thoughts and trying to help. Don't you dare. We are fighting bribes as hard as we can. Do not capitulate. Take the damn test. It is a piece of cake. Get the 120 possible questions and answers in English, study them and take the written multiple choice questions in GDL 30 questions and I got them all and I have an IQ of about 75 max. Paying a bribe in Mexico is a felony that you could be convicted of and spend jail time. Paying a bribe for a driver's license means that you will get a forged one, without the hologram and you can be held responsible for that, also. Do as you wish. First, several friends have gotten their drivers license in Riberas with no problems at all. Second, paying a bribe can get you deported. It's a big no-no.

I felt they tried to jerk me around on the moto test as they made it hard but I passed.
