Buyng a used car on Mercado Libre

Anyone with experience in buying a used car on Mercado Libre?

I have seen one or two cars in which I'm interested. But, wondering and about pros/cons ... beware issues that I should know.

I would say it is a good way to find many options, but definitely do not buy without looking the car over physically imho.

Also it is a good way to get an idea of the range of prices for the type / model car you are looking at so that you don't pay too much.

Questions, definitely ask if the seller has all the car taxes paid up to date, and when you go to see it make sure physically that the current year is up to date paid.

Make sure the wear and tear on things like the brake and gas pedals match the stated mileage. Bring a small magnet to make sure the body doesn't have big gobs of automotive body putty. Check to see if the body is not a different color than registered. If there is a lot of whitish powder on aluminum parts, the vehicle is probably a flood . Smell under the mats, if they smell stale.
