Quality Care is moving location October 23.

Quality Care is moving their practice to Plaza San Antonio where the San Antonio Hospital is.  QC will be in one of the commercial areas located on the same campus as the hospital.

Their new location will be be on the ground floor behind Farmacia Guadalajara and the second floor will be above the Farmacia. There will be an elevator for the second floor. 

QC will move to the ground floor October 23 and the remaining of the practice will move to the second floor on October 26. Parking will be in front of the hospital and a larger parking area behind the hospital.  

Phone numbers will be the same 376 766 1870 or 376 766 5425.  There may be some logistic difficulties getting lines changed over to new location during transition so you can email QC, call your Dr. or alternative number 332 785 0259.

Dear Patients and Friends,

It has been 11 years since the idea of forming a group of specialized physicians located in the Chapala Riviera began to develop, and it has led, after many step backs, to the creation of QualityCare which opened its doors 6 years ago in October 2014. Since then we have experienced many changes, like the increase in the number of specialists of QCDoctors (we started with 7 hand-picked physicians and we are currently 22), the association with other health providers and partners (LEEND Dental and QCLab), the opening of the 1st Cardiac Rehabilitation Program  in the area and Cardio Diagnostic Studies (CardioStudio), the addition of a physical therapy and rehab facility (QCRehab) and ultrasound imaging studies (RC Clinical Radiology), and the incorporation of many more medical services.

Our foundation has always been to have a clinical practice characterized by being  an honest, scientific and humane one, a principle that has led this group to grow in a sustained and solid way. This increase in volume of practice and partners has now created other needs for us, mainly the one for more space. It is for this reason that we have decided to look for a new address and  we are proud to announce that all of QualityCare is moving offices to a bigger, more comfortable and better suited facilities that will improve the care and availability of services for you.

Our new offices will be located at “Plaza San Antonio” (Carretera Oriente No. 21, San Antonio Tlayacapán, Jalisco). This is the commercial area located outside from Hospital San Antonio. As a location reference you have the entrance to Chula Vista Golf course across the street and a Farmacia Guadalajara on our side. Our new location will be divided in 2 sections, one in the ground floor (behind the Farmacia Guadalajara) and one on the first floor (above the Farmacia Guadalajara). To access the second floor there are both stairs and elevators. Parking will be available just outside of the hospital´s main entrance and also behind the hospital (much bigger parking) that you can access through the side road.

It is important to clarify that Plaza San Antonio is a commercial area and is not Hospital San Antonio, therefore we remain to be an independent business in spite of being next to the Hospital. This means that we will continue to give our services as needed, and as always, in any hospital of Guadalajara or in the Chapala Riviera and according to your wishes / needs.

Our moving will take place in 2 different stages. The first one will happen on October 23rd and will be for the Ground Floor where QCDoctors, CardioStudio and RC Clinical Radiology will be located. This area will open its doors for you on October  26th. The second stage will be the moving to the first floor where LEEND Dental, QCLab, QCRehab and some of QCDoctors will be located. The date of this second stage will probably happen during the first 2 weeks of November. Please consider the above to know where your appointment will take place during the few weeks that we will be divided in two different locations. We will try our best to let you know where you should go to.

We know that along the way, the new location will present with new needs and challenges and we want to be prepared. If you have any difficulties to get parking, transportation, and in general difficulty to access our new facility we would like to know so that we find a way to improve any situation. We hope you understand that in this current times it has become very difficult to arrange for some services to be in place and on time such as Telmex services. We will continue to have the same phone lines (3767661870 and 3767665425) but we are expecting to experience some service difficulties during the transition. Yes. They are moving everything.

I was at QC today. To clear up some confusion, QC's new practice is in the Plaza San Antonio commercial area. They are not affiliated with SAT hospital of Ribera hospital but a private practice and only on the same campus as the hospital. the Drs. can take care of any patient who requests SAT hospital or Ribera Hospital or in Guadalajara.
TelMex hasn't gotten their landlines transferred yet so contact for appointments is cell 332 785 0259.

Their lab is still in the old location for now. I was there today. I forgot to ask when they are moving.

I called them and they said the lab is moving in about 3 weeks.

Yes the rest of their services moving starting first 2 weeks in Nov.

I went to the old location today. All signage removed. No posted notice saying they were moving. Also, nobody answers the phone.

So did they plan to move to the San Antonio Hospital but chose instead to close the doors?

Are you talking about the lab or the doctors?

Yes they are a separate business/health care entity, BUT the entire facility/property, with various businesses, is owned by the Sociedad Anónima that owns SA Hospital.
They rent space.

What or where is Ribera Hospital?  I am am only aware of two hospitals, both in SAT, one on the Carretera, across from Chula Vista, and one on the Libramiento?
There is a clinic of some sort about midway in Riberas on the Carretera.

Ribera hospital is the new one on the libramiento. Not sure it is open yet.

That most definitely is not Riberas del Pilar located (not even close), and it is in SAT.  I don´t know the name of the hospital but didn´t think it was Ribera Hospital., maybe Ribera Medical Center. Either way, it is not located in Riberas del Pilar.

I think it is called Riberas Hospital. Probably based on the word not the neighborhood.

Just got an update from Quality Care and their moving of all of their services.

- New location news: we are expecting to go onto stage 2 of our move by the last week of this month and to be fully operational in the new location by December 1st. When that happens more services will be available for you and some doctors will start coming more often to the area. Such is the case of Dr. Hector Briseño (cardiology), Dr. Hector Valenzuela (surgery), Dr. Daniel Briseño (GI) and others.

Dr Hector Valenzuela is, and has been for some time, doing surgeries in the San Antonio Hospital.

Yes he has but planning to come out more than 1 day a week when needed.

I know he came to perform an emergency gall bladder surgery at the SAH when needed. Routine office hours will be as scheduled.

I need to get a blood test on Monday. Does anyone know if they moved the lab yet to the new location?

Monday is holiday. Offices closed.
