Chapala tree service
Kudos to Chapala Tree Service. I recently used them to cut back two huge African Tulip trees and completely remove 4 palm trees and a loquot tree. They were very professional and cleaned my yard better than before they started. It was a 6 man 8 hour job. Very pleased with their work.

Used to have them trim all the HUGE avocado trees we had in La Huerta and they always did an exemplary job. Damn avocadoes used to sound like bombs hitting the tile roof and many times broke the tiles.
In Riberas, I've used them twice when the Bugambilia got to be more than I could handle and they cleaned up an hibiscus bush and other overgrowth on the boulevard that hadn't been touched in three years. And they take all the cuttings away. They filled half of their big box truck with just my stuff.
Love 'em!

They aren't cheap but it is definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation. I have other companies do my trees for far less but they just butcher them and leave a mess.

Exactly. A tree just pruned should look good and properly shaped. It's an art form.

I have 3 very large trees and I have them trimmed every 2 years or so .. The branches that are cut get sealed.. I have yet to see anyone else do tthat here.

Re: Chapala tree service
Agreed. Two of the very large avocado trees had deep splits in the trunks and I credit Chapala Tree Service with saving them. Roberto explained that, if they weren't filled and patched, water and bugs would eventually kill the trees from the inside out.

Of course, any major tree work requires a license from the municipality.

Yep. $1500 pesos for a permit to do the trimming and removal of 5 trees at my property.

Were the palms and loquot trees dug up or were they cut down?
