Of course.

I got my crime information through the "grapevine", and a very efficient one at that, when I lived there full time from 2004-2008. Plenty of it.
Maybe everythiing has magically changed since then.

My decision to move away from there to here had nothing to do with that, however. As nearly as I can tell, all cities in Mexico have their fair share of bad guys.

Yep, wherever there is a target/customer rich environment you will find the bad guys robbing houses and selling drugs.

It is also interesting to note that TOB is owned by a real estate company and crime reporting is not allowed.

Right. And we have a poster here who is likewise engaged and tries to deflate any negative reports regarding life at LC.
