TSA Keys? Empty TSA Keys?

Post by Canada_Mike Sat Nov 02, 2019 2:39 pm

Hi, I'm returning home to Ajijic on Monday. I've usually driven, but am now flying. Does anyone know if the Mexican security folks have and use TSA keys. My bag has a built-in TSA lock, and I don't want them to destroy it to open it.

TIA
Cheers,

Michael

Well twice in the US TSA has broken our TSA approved locks. It seems they don't have time sothey cut the locks and throw them in the bag.

OK, so my solution is to not use the built-in lock which, if broken will destroy the bag. Instead, I'm using a regular TSA lock. This way if they break it, the bag is still good.
