Pain Management Doctor?
Is there a pain management doctor who semi-regularly comes to our area from Guadalajara? Thanks.

I’d give Lety a call at Quality Care tomorrow morning. I used to hear that Dr. Lastra was qualified to prescribe pain meds but do know if that info is still good. Best of luck. Lety would know who to recommend.

Re: Pain Management Doctor?
Have you tried any medical cannabis products Rosa? Supposed to be legal next week, but who knows. My doctors say I ( or anybody) should not be using any NSAIDs of any type. So I have been leaning on my cannabis, even during the day (I normally do not drink or cannabize during the day). I must say it really does work, but only for two or four hours. If you make into edibles the effect is much longer, but you have to experiment with dosage very carefully. CBD oil on its own does not have all the "keys" to unlock your pain receptors. Interesting, the same pain receptors are the same ones that the cannaboids like. So if the pain signals are released, the receptors say that they are trying to crash the party, and won't let them in! Something like that anyway, I am no doctor, just a satisfied home grower who likes to help people, I get a better "high" seeing something that helps people, than actually consuming the stuff for fun. Private message if you want to know more.
PS. If growing groups are legalized, I would be interested in joining a "compassion club" where members are not necessarily consumers (each member will be allowed to keep 2 kilos per year),sometimes medical professionalwho want to witness results for example.

It's been very quiet on the legalization of MJ that was supposed to happen by Oct. 24. I heard the Senate asked for an extension until the 31st so I guess we'll see.
BTW.....when legal you will be allowed to grow 4 plants per adult on the property so no need to join any club.

You are correct, as usual CanuckBob. But the issue will be how much you are allowed to keep in your house. A very generous 2 kilos has been mentioned. Who knows what hoops you going to go through to get a home grow permit. The advantage of a "compassion club" is that you could pay a small farmer, maybe earning 2,500 pesos on a (rare) pension to grow, watchover, water, and kill the bugs for not very much money, shared between many people. Another advantage is that you can share or trade many different strains with other members for your 2 kilo cut. Usually a club has at least one lawyer, and one medical professional. Of course if you sell this stuff, you could open a can of troubles, It you give away some, for a dying cancer patient lets say and it genuinely helps them, this can still be construed as distribution. It is nice to have a support group to disuade this and help fight any legal battles.
I asked our gardener about this, he is born and raised in Ixtlahucan and roamed all the mountains around. It is possible he says, bhe has seen cannabis plants the size of Xmas trees. He says though that the mafia carefully watch everything going on. Though I doubt with these new laws, they won't be interested in cannabis anymore, however extortion is still a big part of their business.

I have some meager skill in the cultivation of cannabis and would be extremely happy to be a part of a cannabis growing club. Sending you a pm Chillin:-)

It is still early days. Will have to get a lawyer to go over the regulations first. In view of drawing up an airtight charter. I think I can sign up a medical doctor from Guadalajara, who is very well connected through family connections.
