Don't hold your breath. I highly suspect this is not going to get rolled out to this area in what's left of our lifetime.
In the meantime, drain and clean your tinaco and/or aljibe with bleach once a year and have your own water purification system for potable water. Change the filters according to YOUR area needs and, if you have a UV light, once a year.
I have a filter on the incoming line that goes to the tinaco which I change once a month. Potable water (under the kitchen sink) has two more filters and a UV light.
My tinaco is a godsend when CFE is down. I will never be without one again. On the other hand, my aljibe is for emergency water only but I still put 4 tablets of chlorine in it every month.
So far, so good.
