Floyd died? Didn’t know that. Used to watch it when I was in London. I don’t have Netflix but will this summer when I dump Shaw and start streaming.

Netflix has a lot of the BBC shows. On the BBC news site, there's a place where people can order the Brit pack with all their good shows for a reasonable price.

I LOVE Brit tv. Best mysteries ever, too.

I'm doing catch up on the almost endless "Midsomer Murders" series. It's fun trying to guess the murderer since they throw out so many false leads.

Try, if you haven't already, Shetland. Dark, noir-ish murder mysteries set on the Shetland Islands. Low key, character based, no flash. Quite good. Similar to Hinterland, which is very good too.

Acorn TV specialises in British shows, but there is a small monthly fee.
Watched Street Food last night - it was interesting.

Thanks! I keep a list of shows I hear about. Once in a while I even find some on YouTube. I’m paid up on Shaw for a couple more months then on to streaming but I will miss the Knowledge station from BC.

Shetland didn't come up on a search of either the Mexican Netflix list or the VPN US Netflix. "Hinterland" did. ???

Baptiste is good too. Set mainly in Amsterdam. It's a sequel of sorts to The Missing series of a couple of years ago.

He had restaurants and wrote cookbooks. He had an entertaining TV personality.

In the U.K. By the way, I found Shetland on Youtube and added it to my “watch later” list.

Trailrunner. oh dear you have been so deprived. That's probably because you suffer from being a Yankee. Floyd invented the celebrity cook genre and he died way too soon, in Bristol, UK, his home town. Any celebrity cook shite you see is thanks to Floyd. Get it, Google it, Get over it. All the celebrity cook chefs you have watched since his untimely demise are pussies and probably unable to conjure a mother sauce if their life depended on it. Check out his Drunkard Rehab thingie. There's tons out there, unfortunately in low definition. Interesting, could someone post a pic of his wife. he loved her to the ground and produced most of his last 3 or 4 years.

Loved Silent Witness and Vera is currently playing on Knowledge. Brenda Blethyn is one great actress. That’s why I like so much Brit TV. The actors all look like real people and not Botoxed zombies filled with plastic.
