Has anyone been getting an error message when trying to log on?

Yep. For over an hour now.

Yes, for two days now on and off I've gotten an error message for Chapala.com. Yet I can get into their Classified's section no problem.

They were up when I checked a few minutes ago.

Yes, couple of days now off and on. At first I thought I'd been banned yet again.

I was just reading on the Chapala Board about people who wanted to bring down their horses from up North. Found it to be very interesting. Moderator locked it! Too bad. I read the last post and the Web Board just crashed. Maybe it got sidekicked by a horse.

Banned once for a week. Never bothered to get reinstated.

My understanding was that people were banned for years. Have a friend that was banned for several years, talked to the “real” boss and got reinstated. I also know a person that got banned for four years for saying a particular person couldn’t spell. (not those words exactly, no profanity, this guy just happened to be a friend of the moderator.) Hence my curiosity.

I was banned about 3 years ago until June 2017.....

Nope only 6 more years and I can get back on. We'll have to keep running this one until then............Jaja.

Funny, but two of my identities were re-instated simultaneously about a year ago. I posted under each of those (as a test) and then both were banned because of my having two identities!


Go figure!

I tried mine this afternoon and was told I was not even allowed to visit the forum.

The biggest jackass on ToB is Duran; he banned me (one of my ID's) just for asking for his help with posting pictures (with the remark "No moderator needs to put up with a post like this")!!!!
