Prayers and best wishes for my friends and family in the path of Michael. Hurricanes are a big PIA.

I've watched Michael since it was a tropical depression. And it started way way south. I expected it to hit below Mexico but it has meandered almost straight north and has managed to thread the narrow passage between the Yucatan and Cuba. An amazing journey!
Now Sergio, which is well out to sea in the Pacific, is going to make an almost a ninety degree turn and bring rain and havoc to Baja California and the southern U.S.

Strange days and strange ways. May all in the path of any hurricane be safe. I have great respect for the devastating power of water.
