Anyone know where one can get a sewing machine repaired here at Lakeside?

I couldn't find anything local but I did find this on a local Quilting site:

There are several good sewing machine repair stores in Guadalajara. These are two some of our members have used:

Singer Chapultepec – Ave. Chapultepec North, Guadalajara (near Ave. Mexico). Repairs and cleans many models of sewing machines in addition to Singer. Will work on computerized machines. Phone: 01 33 3825-8136, 01 33 3825-8908

Sertec – Pedro Buzeta #289, Santa Teresita, Guadalajara (north of Ave. Mexico) Repairs many brands of sewing machines including Janome and computerized machines. There are other service stores within the block. Phone: 01 333 826 9900

What is wrong with your sewing machine? I do repairs to my own sewing machines.

It is an older Husqvarna. When Sharon set it up yesterday it started sewing on it's own and then started smoking. I suspect it needs a good cleaning and lubricating but it has no obvious way to get at the works.

it was last cleaned about 2 years ago before we left Canada

I have had my sewing machine for 31 years and I have never had it serviced and it works like a charm, I oil it but that is it.
I guess I have good luck with this one.

I have worked with Singer machines but they are easy to get at the works. This Husqvara does not look easy. No snap up top like a Singer
