Fanny Pack

Does anyone know if any store locally sells fanny packs?

Have you tried the dollar store at the Ajijic plaza? Or Walmart?

Marcelino, the leather worker on the carretera just east of Colon sells them.

I have one I had made at the leather shop, but he made it so much bigger than I wanted. I paid $300p I will sell it for $200p if you are interested, hasn't been used.

No time machine needed.  They still walk among us here with fanny or belly packs.
The "flak" or fisherman's jacket can substitute for the "murse" for the style conscious.

I've seen several of you out and about around town and "fashionable" isn't the word that comes to mind. (With me either! I look like a hobo sometimes!)

We all need a place to put our stuff. Who cares? This is Hootervile, MX....hardly Fifth Avenue, NYC.

I have a small one I bring down with me. It is ugly as hell and not fashionable. But when I get up and walk the malecon in the morning with few pockets I can have my house keys, kleenex, my phone and some money with me while I get my exercise in, my hands are free and I am not carrying a purse. Hubby and I only come for 5 plus weeks a year as we are still working so we walk ALOT, it is safer for me and I can carry other stuff rather than my purse. Rosa Venus made me laugh she is right anything goes in Ajijic.

Be sure and wear knee-high socks with your tennies or sandals and shorts while sporting your fanny pack. You will fit right in with other snow birds.

It won't be any worse than some of the outfits I have seen being worn, or what peoples dogs are wearing LOL !
