Incredible photo. It doesn't make much difference, but the caption actually explains that "This image by Sergio Tapiro Velasco has won the 2017 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year contest." The BBC is simply reporting this in its news feed.

We lived "under the volcano" for 2 yrs....breathtakingly beautiful, fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Wonderful photo!
