Are we catching up?
with the rainy season lake levels??
As of 8 AM I measured 9 cm. (3 1/2 inches) on my rain gauge here in Chula Vista and more coming.
I wonder how is the Lake level compared to last year this time?

I think the lake is about the same level, or maybe a bit above, as this time last year however I have noticed that it has already started to rise. In previous years I never really noticed any rise until September. Perhaps they are getting really good rains up the Lerma basin?

There are links from the Chapala weather Net that will lead you to the State of Jalisco Water Dept. that shows that of last Friday, we were slightly lower than last year at the same time but slightly higher than the previous year.
I tried to make copies of the page but failed try going to this Link I hope I did it
Hey it works just left click on the blue word Link and you will see the levels of the last three years. We were ahead most of the year but fell behind last month. The totals do not include this weekend
