Honestly, the slide show doesn't do it justice. It is magnificent!...and is now on the list of World Heritage sites. We first saw it in '95 in deplorable condition and very creepy. American Express gave some seed money to get the restoration started and the State of Guanajuato provided the lion's share of the funds to finish the work.
