Available Lakeside?
Does anyone have a reference for a nursing care service that comes to your house for 12 or 24 hour spans of time (most of which, if they don't like to read .....would be spent painting their nails, talking/texting with friends, eating or sleeping). my actual needs are dispensing various medications 1-4xday, bano help 15min every 2 hours, leg massage of about 15min every 2 hours, occasional load to washing machine, snack and simple dinner prep (if i ever get my appetite back), feed gato 5 min 1xday,
car would be nice for supplies shopping (however, with whomever drops them off/picks them up, it could be done pre or post shift) Upper Ajijic. Fair English skills required. Thanks for any help.

Re: Available Lakeside?
There's a store on the carretara, Ajijic west, right next to Vinos America at Aquilles Serdan which sells medical and handicap devices. I *think* they also have nursing services or are connected to an outfit that does. Hope I'm right.
Cheers,
Michael

Lidia Zamudio Cerda
Lake Med Center (Carretera west Ajijic)
766-2088
33-3156-9080
She runs a nursing service and sells/rents equipment. I got a nurse through her for a few days and was very happy w/her. Professional, not cheap but worth it. If this is for long term, you could do it less expensively by hiring a nurse directly.

Re: Available Lakeside?
Thanks you two.
I am aware of Lydia and her services. Have heard mixed reviews. I'm under the impression the nursing/caretaker need will be long term (months) Won't really know until I get off being "flat on my back" for 43 days.
I's always more economical to cut out the middleman ......... the problem is finding the nurse/caretaker. Names & Numbers, anyone

I had a wonderful experience with Lidia when I REALLY needed assistance following hear surgery. The folks she sent to my home were great and she was very "hands on". My personal experience couldn't have been better. YMMV
