Airport parking - strange

So Friday I went to the airport about 5:30p. Slow line getting into the parking. A lady who is part of the ejido protest told me to take a ticket but not to pay when going out. I checked this again when I was handed a ticket, and was told by an airport person, that yes, do not pay. I collected my family, and, indeed, did not pay. My ticket was collected when I left the lot, and that was that.

One reason I'm posting this is that everything was in Spanish. So, if you hear, No paga, just take your ticket and do not pay.
