Thanks for not deleting

Thank you for not deleting the political posts, even thought you lock them we (late readers) can follow the links to get a feeling how others think. The OTB deletes the whole thing and it makes you wonder what was said that got them deleted.

Ah, I was the one who started the discussion of possible bumper stickers (such as "I Voted for Hillary" on the other board. It was a very popular discussion while it lasted. As soon as I get my second beer, I will post here what I posted there, and you guys can take it from there.The bumper sticker suggestions were, by the way, the work of a friend and do not necessarily reflect my political views, altho they might!

If it is political with no direct affect on Mexico then please don't bother. It will be locked on here as well.

Okay, following is the list of bumper sticker suggestions from my friend. This list engendered MORE suggestions of bumper stickers, and things got a bit out of hand, altho I am QUITE sure that posters here will do better!

Sorry, Bob. I didn't read your comment until I posted this. I thought the suggested bumper stickers were pretty mild and more self-defense oriented than politically oriented. They were meant to make fun of the situation we expats are in here.

Come on CBob, please open up the political section. At least until this mess is straightened up.  If we adults don't like it we can bypass it. Thanks for your consideration.

The political crap seems to bleed into other topics as well. I'm about to throw away my modem since it's nearly impossible to get away from it. I was emailed a link to a polll from someone I hadn't seen since high school graduation and that was 55 years ago, for crying out loud.
