Reminder details of Rally at the Ajijic Plaza Saturday, Jan. 21, 2pm
REMINDER
Saturday, January 21st - Ajijic Plaza - Rally and March 2 pm
Citizens of the world from Mexico, Canada, the USA, and other countries will join together to show support for their neighbors; standing in solidarity with our goals of liberty and justice for all. We join together to celebrate the accomplishments of the current US administration: Healthcare for all, equality of all citizens and embracing each person’s unique race, religion and nationality.
Ajijic Plaza beginning at 2 p.m. – we will have speakers from several countries. Chairs will be available and there will be a microphone system to ensure everyone can hear the powerful messages being shared. Free bottled water will be available. If you need assistance just flag someone down wearing a white baseball cap, with the words “Stand Together”, for help. Afterward, at approximately 3 p.m., the participants will march with signs of support and concern to the Ajijic malecon for a brief closing. At that time, there will be a candlelight ceremony and a chance to share concerns and pledge to STAND TOGETHER for CHANGE.
This march and rally has permits from the Mexican government and has been organized by members of Lakeside Progressives for Action. Email: lpainmx@gmail.com
