using the Cross bridge Express
My wife and I are flying out of Tijuana to Guadalajara after our cruise ship returns to San Diego.
I did not do proper research before booking the flight from Tijuaqna rather than San Diego as we wanted to fly Volaris.
Now I find out that the Cross Bridge Express is 23 miles from the cruise port and downtown San Diego while the San Diego airport is less than 2 miles away. The cab fare to CBE from downtown Ssan Diego is $74.
Has anyone used the CBE from down town San Diego and, if so how did you get there ? I am looking for a RELIABLE shuttle or what ever that does not cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks

Re: using the Cross bridge Express
Just do a Google search on "Cross Bridge Express".
The last time I did this I used a train in San Diego that you can take to the Mexican border and then walk across the border and catch a cab in Mexico to the airport. I can't remember how much these rides cost.

website: Rome2rio.com gives detailed info getting from point A to B anywhere in the world.
By entering 'downtown san diego' to 'tijuana airport', all the different ways to do this are given.

I really recommend that if/when you need ground transport, use Uber or Lyft rather than a taxi, rates are way less.
They also have Uber in Guadalajara (from there to Lakeside but not starting Lakeside).
IMO, well worth it.
