Gravity feed water faucet
I've just had a plumber tell me that there are no kitchen faucets with a single lever mechanism that will work with a gravity feed water system, yet I thought I had seen a post about this very topic although I can't locate it now. Can anyone she'd light on this, please? TIA!!!

Re: Gravity feed water faucet
Mine does more or less. It depends on how much pressure (height) you have.

Interesting, I have never heard that a single lever faucet requires a certain amount of pressure. I know some of the "on demand" water heaters do.
Re: Gravity feed water faucet
Several plumbers have told me that single lever faucets in the shower and kitchen require more pressure than normally produced by gravity alone.

I'm guessing your single lever faucet might also be a water saving faucet, which is designed to reduce pressure and water volume ...
