We have both and do 90% of our shopping at Costco.

The only plus I can think of for Sam's Club is that so few people shop there, the store is nearly empty. I am basing this on the parking lots for both Sam's Club and Costco.

I guess Mexican's have figured out that the quality standards at Costco are considerably higher.

Most favor Costco over Sam's. I favor using the "personal shopper" service by Cynthia Ornelas where I don't have to buy a Costco card; I can fill my "shopping cart" on her web page by Tuesday and have the goods delivered to my door on Thursday. My kind of shopping trip, but others enjoy the "touch and feel" type........so whatever works for you.
