Lost little dog in Villa Nova

Last night this little 5-8 pound dog slipped off the property. His owner is quite distraught, she just had a back operation and in unable to search for him. He is beige, his coat is wiry and he has a name tag with his name and phone #. Please keep an eye out for this little guy, and if you see him, or have any info, please call 376-766-0008

Good news!! Benji is home! Someone had taken him in and apparently was ready to keep him instead of calling the owner. However, Villa Nova has cameras which caught her. Things must have gotten too hot for her as this had been posted on the forums and many pages of Facebook. He is back and his owner is extremely happy. Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out for him and spreading the word!

That happened to me NOB - someone decided to keep my Sam rather than call the phone # on his tag and give him back. Fortunately Sam has strong opinions and barked A LOT.

When I was a kid, a neighbor's setter went missing with collar and tag. They advertised everywhere. Three months later they received a phone call that someone had their dog and it was hurt, hit by a car. Turned out the people had the dog the whole time and only called because they did not want to spend money on a vet. Our neighbor went and got her dog which ultimately died from its injuries. Some people just suck.
