In English?
Probably Ruben in Riberas or Benno's on the Libramiento can install the program for you. Maybe you can download from Microsoft. . .

Re: Microsoft store
New MS model is to lease it every year. They want to stop selling it like they use to. Not sure where they are on this project. If you need all this fancy stuff fine but I just use the free stuff like Libre office and such. At least two different versions of free office shareware are available. Go online to MS and you can see if they still sell it the old way. I believe the new product is called office 365 or something like this.

I believe you can still buy Office 2010 & 2014 online. You can download it directly. I just had to download my office 2010 again a couple of months ago when my HD failed.
Re: Microsoft store
this is for a young friend, I do not want a sub. on my card. I may pass and the friend would lose the sub. A full version with a disc even if an older version is what I am looking for.

Re: Microsoft store
Need this software in Spanish, Ive tried too purchse on the Microsoft site, but they run me in circles between switching page to English and trying to order in Spanish, and reluctant to ship to Mexico. A legal copy of Office with a disc in Spanish is what I need. Not a subscription.

Its not a subscription. It is a full legal download from the Microsoft store. They will even ship you a disc as backup.

Re: Microsoft store
Try Google Docs. It's pretty close in functionality and free.

Re: Microsoft store
In my limited experience with higher education in the US I see OpenOffice being abandoned to Google Docs. There are several reasons that include the interchange of information among groups.

Re: Microsoft store
I have both Google Docs and Apache OpenOffice. OpenOffice does much more but for most people that won't matter and Google Docs works fine for most simple use. When on win10 machine I use OpenOffice when on Chromebook I use Google docs and both work fine but I am a pretty simple user.
