Malware in Camera system.......
In Mirador someone has posted that they found Malware in firmware for camera security system. Now if you don't hook up to internet no worry but if you want to review your box remotely hmmmm.
So are these boxes these days still linux industrial or whatever??? My Lorex box from Costco showed clean. If I were infected how would I clean unit without new firmware if problem is in firmware??
Even if you deleted it in memory when box booted wouldn't the problem reload??? Never thought we would be looking at firmware for this stuff and what a careless manufacturer is all I have to say.
I can see how it could happen but it never would have passed quality control at any company I ever worked at.
