Ministerial Publico / Chapala / English Speakers
Does the MP / Chapala have English speakers in their office to help with filing a complaint?
Or is it necessary to bring a translator?
I believe that LCS has MP people visit once or twice a month and those people are usually English speaking, but I don't know if they come from Chapala or from Guadalajara? Anyone know?
Thanks,
S.

If not, Spencer can assist in filing a complaint with the MP.

Omar at the MP in Chapala speaks conversational English. He comes to LCS but not sure of the schedule.

If it is important enough for you to file a complaint, why wouldn't you bring someone that speaks the language? I would want to make sure when I filed a complaint that it is understood and recorded correctly.

I agree with you about bringing someone with you who has language skills. But you can go in and ask questions to begin with in English and I did that. And, then had to return from time to time to check after the complaint was filed, and that was easily done in English. It's just convenient.
The complaint was in Spanish.
