Moto Drivers
Almost every week I pass a cluster of Vialidads, Cruz Roja, and a wrecked moto (Moped/Scooter/Small "Motor Cycle" of low power. We all know what happens...
The riders pass on the left, they pass on the right, they follow in a car drivers blind spot, they pull out when underpowered, they use the lane markers as their own lanes, etc etc...
I have no idea what the laws for moto riders are, but I know ones that work!! I rode in a large metropolis with many cyclists with few accidents (none for me). Most also had Motorcycle Safety Foundation training as there was a big insurance discount for those passing the class.
Riders here certainly need the classes - but I understand that few would admit they are not good/safe/really fast riders. Viales could, with regular stops for infractions point out their unsafe practices.
THis post is no more for those riders than it is for me.....
I am sick and tired of foolish riders:
Am i liable in accidents caused by such inappropriate (if not illegal) actions - who knows
It probably depends on whether the rider is still alive or conscious or knows someone.....
I want to schedule a meeting in the future with the Chief of the Vialidades to discuss what we can do.
Maybe we can offer some classes
Maybe we can celebrate graduations
etc
TIA

I am sick and tired of foolish riders:
- passing on the right between me and the jersey barriers of the bicycle lanes where they have no chance of escape
Cutting in quickly and closely after a (somewhat) successful pass in or out of a passing permitted area
Following at the right rear of my car so I have no chance to see them (in my blind spot)
and mas y mas y mas

He did come to mind since he is a rider here.

But I could work on a team ......

Re: Moto Drivers
There was an accident where a moto ran into the rear of a car at the light that accesses Fenix real estate. The driver of the car that was hit was arrested. I believe their is risk for the auto driver when involved with a moto.

Re: Moto Drivers
There is a crisis with Super Puss. He needs a new super cape and he needs contributions. Even though he is a real estate investment genius his portfolio is failing. I am not making light of this serious situation and neither should you. Without his super cape he cannot solve the tremendous number of problems that only he can handle. So please don't let this need go unanswered. He has been consulting with his hero The Donald so his financial crisis should soon be over. Let us pull together to support our hero in this time of need.

No one seems the least concerned about their liability or the lives of some young unknowing riders here.
I regret that it was used to bash MC. That was certainly not my intent.

And why is anybody complaining about natural selection? Let the stupid receive their just desserts so as not to procreate and have the state save them from themselves only to cause us problems!?

Jaja.....I see your thread on TOB garnered the same reaction however there they are beating MC directly......
Re: Moto Drivers
On a serious note, some education could work. Maybe the time is right and a few less moto accidents will traumatize local drivers.

Re: Moto Drivers
To me this is becoming a serious problem. The number of motor bikes has increased greatly with ORMA, POLLO FELIZ, SUBWAY and the tortilla guys driving wildly , passing on the right in the blind spot and racing down the bicycle lane.
A female friend of mine was involved in a injury accident with the ORMA guy and spent two nights in jail with no food and made to sleep on a filthy floor.
We can joke about this until it happens to one of us !
