Ring Around the Tile Pool

I searched prior postings and found this same need posted September 2012 but no suggestions for who does this type of cleaning service. I figure after 3 years someone must have found a dependable service that does this.

Who do you recommend to clean hard water / chemical build up from pool tiles? And about how much should I expect to pay?

We use muric acid and a stiff bristled brush.

That's "muriatic" acid. Pumice stone works too.

Get a water softener and get rid of the calcium and you get rid of new ring. Disclaimer my water is from upper ajijic. Your mileage may vary due to your well in your area but most water has calcium in it. We had about 200PPM calcium before I got a water softener.

I emptied the pool before using the muriatic acid cleaning process.
I did this every two years.
