One way car rental MEX to Ajijic
Is it possible to rent a car at MEX airport and return it in Ajijic?
This has to do with bringing my dog to town.
Cheers,
Michael

Doubtful you can return any "airport rental" in Ajijic. You would likely have to drop it off at GDL. Best bet is to ask the rental agency.

If you are looking for a way to get your dog and yourself to Ajijic from the airport, just get a taxi. The main taxi guy on the sidewalk will see that you have your dog with you and will find someone who will transport you. Much easier and cheaper than trying to rent a car.

UBER? and if its a van you might even find someone to share the trip expense if you plan ahead, and maybe even find someone to ride back to Mexico city for the return trip, making it possible for you to have to pay for only half of the round trip.

Sorry, I think I missed that you are coming in at MEX which I figured out is Mexico City--forget the taxi. In fact, forget coming in through MEX and come into GDL. Getting a dog here from Mexico City is going to be a pain in the kazaza unless you drive back to Mexico City to return it. Good luck.

Well, if there was a direct flight from Toronto to GDL I would, but I don't want to have to change planes - too much for the dog.

Taxi is not such a bad idea, that's now Rony got Miss Virginia back to Chapala from DF. Don't remember the cost, a bit expensive but not prohibitive. About a 6 hour drive.
I think UBER would be an excellent idea to try as well.

We need to "like" the Facebook "WestJetneedstoflytoGuadalajara" community page. They started a seasonal lane into Hualtulco, so we're ever hopeful.
