Canadian Federal Election

This should probably go straight to the Octagon pit. What do you think ? I think Harper is going down. I think the young are finally into voting. Trudeau is about the same age as JFK. Mulcair's (the NDP guy) facial hair thing does not work for me - what is he hiding under there ? He's a shitty dresser. I have voted NDP. Trudeau, yayaya. But, he insists on 7 -8 hours sleep. He boxes. Spars with his campaign manager/high school chum every day. Trudeau vs Putin (the bombast) in the ring, intriguing fantasy. I see either a Liberal sweep or a Liberal/NDP coalition. I kinda like those - keeps everybody honest. Over.

I think this is an excellent summation of the Harper reality in Canada.

Yea guys/gals but who has the best hair???? That's what Canada wants to know.

(For the folks without Canadian TV they belittle Trudeau in the commercials by saying at he is too young but "he has nice hair" NAASSSTTTYYY Lately been seeing a lot of NDP or Liberal commercials. The beard is weird to us USA folks as a our politicos would never have a beard.)

That's the thing I like the most about conservatives; they can, with a straight face, say things so ridiculous, so utterly outside of reality, that to mock them, all that one need do is quote them.

All folks far left or far right say ridiculous things sometimes.  I generally can't agree with either extreme. Example of left ridiculous stuff is politico in Berkely California one of the homes of free speech wanting to make it illegal to fly the American Flag. Luckily it didn't happen but I think it falls into the category of ridiculous don't you?  Lefties have loonies also and can be quoted.

PoCo2012, Thx. That plus the best hair and my original comments should nail it. I'm firmly convinced the female vote elected Mx's president. And why not. Ditto Justin Trudeau. Pierre/Daddy worked that angle to huge advantage and why not. He got elected. Oh, Dad, he had a toke and admitted it. So did the son.Younger people get that. So do the geezers. Justin got Daddy's Mercedes convertible. Bitchin.

Trudeaumania is back. I think he will take it
Conservatives will come in second and Harper will resign within a year.
The NDP will take their familiar third place.

I don't think that Harper will stick around if he's not alpha male.

We'll soon find out who will replace Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada. Brothels in our communities?  Maybe not. But I'm tempted to start buying stocks of Cdn medical marijuana companies. Their business will explode shortly......

Mulcair... I 'm gonna miss that guy

Looks like a red landslide....a strong majority government for the Liberals.  Pundits are saying Liberals are leading in some seats within the conservative heartland (Calgary!), not achieved since Trudeau the First.

Nobody seems to be writing off Mulcair.  He may still be around to lead the NDP.

Anyway.....BYE BYE HARPERMAN!

For conservatives:

1st step - get rid of HARPERMAN.  
2nd step - replace with "reasonable" conservative ( big challenge!)
3rd step- be a credible opposition.

Then, Canada may avoid the chaos we see in the US and Europe.
