Has anyone heard or seen anything more about this event? Supposed to be next weekend.

I missed this when you posted it. jajajaja! "Bar Co" is all over the original poster, so I'd ask Carlos there. This looks GREAT.

My husband has been talking about this since late August. Not like I would EVER let him on it...but it could be fun to watch.

I think I fractured a bone just watching the video! But, sure would be fun to watch!

I hope it's really happening, too. If I run into Carlos from El Bar Co before you do, I'll ask him, and send you a message or call. I haven't seen any other publicity around town either, but I've been busy. Who knows.

I stopped by El Bar Co. this morning and talked to Carlos. The poster is at the front door, and the after-parties each night are at his bar. He says it's going to happen!

They must have cancelled this event as there was no sign of them yesterday or today.

They are setting things up about 100 yards west of the pier. Hopefully ready for some events later this afternoon. Tomorrow for sure.

Noo. Just clearing lirio..looks fun i will go by this evening.

They were operating it around 5pm this evening. I watched one guy flounder in the water, unable to get up on his wakeboard several times, for about 15 minutes. I was almost out of patience and thinking about leaving but then saw him give up and a skinny, fifteen year old was getting ready to go. I told friends who were about to leave, "Stay for this kid. He can do it. I can tell." Sure enough, he was excellent!

They'll be going full guns tomorrow.

It looks like the wake boarding part of this was a bust so in true Mexican form they have adapted and are now offering wet and wild bucket rides.......jaja. Viva Mexico!!

Jajaja! Yeah, I only saw a few wake boarders this weekend. I thought it would be packed with rich Tapatio kids yesterday. Nope. Poorly attended, pretty much a bust. Too bad.
