Recommendation for Dr. Diego Vallejo Thomsen for mammogram, bone density, ultrasound tests

Dr. Diego Vallejo is a Radiologist who's diagnostic office is at Puerta Hierro Sur on Lopez Mateo. It is easy to get to.
2 of us had appointments with him yesterday at 11 and 11:30 for mammograms. He said to call him just before we got to PH Sur and he would meet us. We called his cell and he said to meet him in the front lobby of the hospital.
We arrived and he was there and escorted us to the tall medical office complex directly in front of the hospital. Upon reaching his office floor, he assisted us through the security officer outside the elevator and took us right in for mammograms. His technician has been with him for 10 years and she was excellent and very precise in positioning.
After testing, Dr. Diego escorted us down to the payment desk and had our films and report sent to that area. We gave him our ticket we received to park in the under ground pay parking, to have validated for us and he told us to meet him back in the hospital lobby after we were done at the payment desk.
We walked back to the hospital lobby and Dr. Diego was there with our validated parking ticket and we drove off not have to pay for parking.
So nice to have a Dr. escort you through beginning to end !
He has ultrasound, bone density and mammogram services. He also comes to Quality Care but only does ultrasounds there now. His plan is to put more diagnostic equipment at Quality Care in the future.

1080 pesos for mammogram including 16% IVA tax, about 67 U.S. dollars. Ultrasound done at Quality Care if 1000 pesos. I don't know what the charge is for bone density as I didn't have one. Probably about the same as mammogram.
You wouldn't need to go into Guadalajara for ultrasound if not an emergency. There is a place in Chapala that does ultrasounds, but old equipment. I prefer the state of the art equipment Dr. Diego has.

How about sonograms? Anyone local?

A sonogram is the image shown in ultrasound. So Dr. Diego could do that at Quality Care as they are the same. 766-1870 See below:

Thank you. I've been going to Puerto de Hierro for that. This would be a much better alternative.

Absolutely. Dr. Diego is great, perfect English. He comes every other week. Call Letty at Quality Care 766-1870 to schedule appointment. I think he will be coming this Thursday.

Country 2000 was advertising.1500 pesos for mamogram, breat sonogram, bone density and something else about the pelvic..it is a package deal. Will be there on Tuesday so I can check what the pelvic test was exactly if someone is interested.

Yes there are places that have packages periodically.

Within the past 6 months RIO LAB (close to Hospital Country 2000) also had (and maybe still has) a package available for $1200 pesos: BREAST Ultrasound, Mammography & Bone Density Scan.   Free valet parking. Latest technology and tests are done by medical doctors and they do have good customer service.

It may be worth your while to also call and ask about their prices.
They usually also give my Lakeside patients an added 20% discount since they travel over 40 minutes each way to their facilities.
