I'm looking for a product locally to use to stop/prevent corrosion

on my battery terminal (hot).

I've cleaned it several times after applying vinigar to remove the build up, but this doesn't seem to last long. I also clean the terminal with a professional brush thing that fits over the post and you rotate it by hand.

I doubt any of the american products I've seen online would be locally available.

why spend the money when a few dabs of vaseline will do the trick. i've been doing that for over 50 years and learned that from mechanics who are long dead now. get a clue.

If one doesn't have Vaseline, like me, one has to buy somethine!

vaseline is cheap cheap cheap and available at any farmacia. and clueless has suggested on numerous occasions that he wants more for less.

In 2001, I bought a small can, maybe a pound, of red axle grease. I used it for battery terminals and for lubricating automatic garage door tracks, etc., until 2014, when we moved. The new owner still has 3/4 of a can left.

Or as my neighbors say VA-PA-ROO (Vicks Vapor Rub)

clean with bicarb of soda and water, and coat with vaselene ,vaporuuub grease or even lard or crisco.

Are these addon terminal ends?
