Which crossing? Empty Which crossing?

When we moved here, we came through at the Nuevo Laredo crossing. We are planning a trip back and Google Earth map has us crossing west of there on Mexico 2. Any advise on one being better than another to cross going NOB and then returning?

If I'm not mistaken that route is Bridge 3 or more commonly referred to as the Colombia – Solidarity International Bridge.  I've crossed there twice, both coming and going about 12 years ago.. I choose that one to avoid the traffic and Laredo. I'm sure others will have more recent info..
