Border Patrol Helicopter Forced down in Laredo

FBI Statement
"On June 5, 2015, at approximately 5:00pm during an operational flight near the Rio Grande River in Laredo, Texas, a US Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP) helicopter was struck several times by ground fire. The rounds penetrated and damaged the aircraft, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing. The pilot sustained no injuries and no individuals on the ground were affected."

It is interesting that the legitimate news sources say the helicopter was SHOT AT and forced to land. Right-wing hysteria mongers say the helicopter was "shot down" and, even, "War On The Border!"

What else would you expect flying into Iraq or Afghanistan?

Not sure what you are talking about. The statement that was excerpted was from the FBI, not exactly a right wing group. Here is another from CNN. This is going to have an impact on tourism. People will be afraid to travel through what they believe is a war zone.
