Can anyone tell me how much the fine is for articulo 176 (articulo 109 VIII)? We received a ticket for our windshield being too dark..

it's on the ticket and if you pay within 5 days it's half that.

It says between 1 to 5 days of minimum salary...so do not know until we pay?

minimum salary is around 70 pesos. fines are cheap here and that's why you should never pay mordida which is always waaaaaayyyyy more.

I received a parking ticket for leaving my wheels in the wrong place while at the Joco market yesterday.  The Vialidad guy was still in the area and tagging all of the cars along one side of the street I was on.  Just as a little test, three of us in my travelling party swarmed him and asked for an explanation of why we were tagged and how to pay off the ticket.  He wanted no part of any offers to pay it right then and there and we were briefed on where to go and pay it.  Progress is being made!!!
