Sounds like Immigration may open their office in Chapala soon. Several people who have gone into Guad lately for their FM3's have been told that within a few weeks, the office will be open 5 days a week in Chapala. If it is true, it is good news. Very Happy

I wonder if it will lessen the prices the facilitators charge?

We will drop our prices significantly as if there is a local office, it will be easy and we can avoid the trips to Guad.

Most people will benefit from the use of a facilitator and if they open an office in Chapala we may do a special $300-400 pesos plus government fees for all transactions as you still need to have all the proper papers and translate your bank statements as well as fill out all the forms and better to have a bilingual person accompany you there to address any issues. This would make sense, a small fee to avoid hassles. I'm hoping they open an office and it is open 5 days a week so then we can all avoid going to Guad and just walk a block, well my office and staff.

I´ve put together a good team.

Immigration Services
Real Estate Sevices - Contract preparation, verification property has no liens, really helping the transaction along if there are no real estate agents and doing due diligence.
Real Estate Appraisals - My girlfriend works in an appraisal office so they are all state approved.
Legal Services - Teaming with my brother in law who is a legal director of tlauepaque police ept for criminal and another attorney who is a very good civil attorney, came recommended to me by the local judges.
Apostilles, Birth Cetificates and Translations
Appointments for Mexicans to get their US Visa - Filling out the application, payment form and setting the one o two appointments and giving them he suppoting docs.
Mortgage Loans
I have an English speaking driver to take people to Guadalajara as well as pick up documents.
A few more items.
IMSS Renewals

I should have written: "Facilitators? I don't need no facilitator!"

But, if I did - I'd use Spenser.
